2. Key Health Sector Response and Coordination:

18 September 2026 | Separate coordination meetings were held under the leadership
of Dr. Hemant Chandra Ojha, Chief, Health Emergency and Disaster Management
Unit (HEDMU)/HEOC, with the Armed Police Force (APF) and Nepal Police Disaster
Management Teams to discuss the deployment of Emergency Medical Teams (EMTs)
and the prioritized expansion of health services in areas affected by the Bhotekoshi–
Rasuwa flood. The meetings focused on assessing the evolving situation and health
needs, prioritizing the deployment of EMT support to locations and holding centres
with identified unmet health needs, and strengthening coordination to ensure needsbased and timely expansion of health services in the affected areas.

Aamachhodingmo Rural Municipalities of Rasuwa, while 113 people received TT
vaccination in Nuwakot through the APF medical team.
