Taplejung District
District in Koshi Province, Nepal
Taplejung Sherpa: སྟབས་ལས་རྫོང, romanized: Wylie stabs las rzdong is a district in Koshi Province, located in far-eastern Nepal. It is one of the seventy-seven districts of Nepal and covers an area of 3,646 km2, making it the third-largest district in Nepal by area. According to the 2011 Nepal Census, the district has a population of 127,461. Its administrative headquarters is Phungling Municipality.
