- PAirport in NepalPokhara International AirportPokhara International Airport is an international airport located at Chhinedanda in Pokhara, Gandaki Province, Nepal. It is situated 3 km (1.9 mi) east of the old domestic airport, which it has largely replaced for regular commercial operations. The airport is Nepal's third international airport and officially began operations on 1 January 2023. While most domestic flights have been shifted to the new ariport, STOL operations to Jomsom still continue to be operated from the old Pokhara Airport. As of September 2026, the airport handles primarily domestic flights, along with some chartered international flights. On 23 September 2026, flydubai launched the airport's first daily scheduled international service, connecting Pokhara to Dubai.
- LMountain in Khumbu, NepalLobucheLobuche is a Nepalese mountain which lies close to the Khumbu Glacier and the settlement of Lobuche. There are two main peaks, Lobuche East and Lobuche West. A permit to climb the mountain is required from the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), which classifies Lobuche East (6,119m) as a "trekking peak" and Lobuche West (6,145m) as an "expedition peak". The permit is issued by Nepal Mountaineering Association and costs US$350 during spring, US$175 during autumn, and US$175 during winter/summer. The easier, trekking peak, the East peak is climbed far more frequently than the West peak; however, most of those climbers only do so to reach a false summit that is still a few hours from the true summit of Lobuche East. Between the two peaks is a long, deeply notched ridge, with a steep drop and its considerable distance making an approach of the West peak from the East practically impossible.

It has now been merged into Pokhara sub-metropolitan city to form Pokhara metropolis. Pokhara Valley was politically divided between Pokhara city and Lekhnath which occupied the eastern half of the valley. There were 18 wards in total in Lekhnath municipality before the merger, with a VDC Bharat Pokhari that had been added at a later stage.

It is a hill station above Mahakali River close to the Indian border. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 34,575 people living in 7,257 individual households. It is named in honour of a martyr revolutionary Dashrath Chand (1903–1941).
Mountain in NepalGangapurnaGangapurna is a mountain in Gandaki Province, Nepal. It is part of the Annapurna mountain range in north-central Nepal at an elevation of 7,455 metres (24,459 ft) and with the prominence of 563 metres (1,847 ft). It was first ascended in 1965 by a German expedition via its south face and east ridge. Gangapurna is entirely located in the Annapurna Conservation Area.- TPlace in Koshi Province, NepalTengbocheTengboche is a village in Khumbu Pasanglhamu rural municipality in the Khumbu subregion of Koshi Province in Nepal, located at 3,867 metres (12,687 ft). Within the village is an important Buddhist monastery, Tengboche Monastery, which is the largest gompa in the Khumbu region. The structure was built in 1923. In 1934, it was destroyed by an earthquake but subsequently rebuilt. It was destroyed again by a fire in 1989, and again rebuilt with the help of volunteers and the provision of foreign aid. Tengboche has a panoramic view of the Himalayan mountains, including the well-known peaks of Tawache, Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku. Tenzing Norgay, the first man to reach the summit of Mount Everest with Sir Edmund Hillary, was born in the area in the village of Thani and was once sent to Tengboche Monastery to be a monk.

Panchkhal has an area of 103 km2 and population density of 345/km2, according to the 2021 Nepal census. Glacial strand retreat and fluvial incision led to develop landscapes and evolve the area having a relief of about 122 to 750 m. At the time of the 2021 Nepal census, it had a population of 35,521 in 9,133 total households. Panchkhal municipality was established in 2016 through the merger of five former Village Development Committees (VDCs): Anaikot, Hokse Bazar, Kharelthok, Koshidekha, and Baluwa. The restructuring was carried out following a decision made in 2014 by the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration. Panchkhal is known for its agricultural productivity and promotes itself with the motto of “पाँचखाल नगर-कृषि शहर ”.
River in NepalSunkoshi RiverThe Sunkoshi, also spelled Sunkosi, is a river that is part of the Koshi or Saptkoshi River system in Nepal. Sunkoshi has two source streams, one that arises within Nepal in Choukati, and the other more significant stream that flows in from Nyalam County in the Tibet region of China. The latter is called Bhote Koshi in Nepal and Matsang Tsangpo in Tibet. Due to the significant flows from Bhote Koshi, the Sun Koshi river basin is often regarded as a trans-border river basin.

The new municipality was formed by merging three existing villages—Ratnapur, Kuwakot and Chapakot—on 18 May 2014. On 12 March 2017 the government implemented the new local administrative structure consisting of 744 local units. With the implementation of this new local administrative structure, the old structure will no longer be in existence. According to the new structure, VDCs will be replaced with village councils. Newly merged VDCs are Sankhar, Sekham, Ward no. 8 of Pakbadi & Ward no. of Malyangkot. It is the highest point of the ridge and of the state of West Bengal, India. The peak is located at the edge of the Singalila National Park and has a small village on the summit with a few hotels. Four of the five highest peaks in the world, Everest, Kangchenjunga, Lhotse and Makalu can be seen from its summit. It also affords a pristine view of the entire Kangchenjunga Range. It was formed on 24 January 1997 by the merging of the then three VDCs, namely Waling, Dhanubase, and Pekhubaaghkhor. Due to the restructuring of the local government as part of the Federal Government System on 10 March 2017, the municipality's area was expanded to include Majhakot Shiwalaye VDC, Eladi VDC, Jagat Bhanjyang VDC, Chhangchhangdi VDC, Malyangkot VDC, Tindobate VDC, Kalikakot VDC Pelakot VDC, Thumpokhara VDC and Sworek VDC. It is located in the Aadhikhola valley and is bisected by the historic Andhikhola River in Syangja District, Gandaki Province of Nepal. Waling is named the Pink City due to its practice of painting local houses pink. The Government of Nepal has recognized Waling as one of the cities with the potential for future development under the Smart City initiative. Waling received an award for the best municipality of the country and was declared the Clean City of Nepal for the fiscal year 2017.

Gokyo, at the base of Gokyo Ri, is a small village with several houses and lodges, and is one of the highest settlements in the world. From the summit of Gokyo Ri it is possible to see four 8,000-metre peaks: Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and Cho Oyu. The Gokyo Lakes are in the area. Other mountains, such as Pumori and Nuptse are also visible from the top, along with five tranquil glacier lakes named together as gokyo lakes. The Gokyo-Ri summit is a 3-hour hike from the nearest village.
