Most pregnancies are healthy, but certain danger signs mean mother or baby need urgent care. Knowing them saves lives. लक्षणहरू: In pregnancy: vaginal bleeding, severe headache with blurred vision, swelling of face/hands, fits, high fever, severe tummy pain, or the baby moving much less. Attend all antenatal check-ups, and seek care immediately for any danger sign in pregnancy, labour or the six weeks after birth (heavy bleeding, fever, fits). Danger signs can mean high blood pressure of pregnancy (pre-eclampsia), infection, bleeding, or obstructed labour.

These signs are not for home care. Go to a birthing centre or hospital at once and arrange safe transport.
