Diarrhoea is three or more loose or watery stools a day. Cholera is a severe, rapidly dehydrating form from contaminated water. The main danger in all cases is fluid loss. लक्षणहरू: Loose/watery stools, tummy cramps, nausea; with dehydration: thirst, dry mouth, little urine, sunken eyes and weakness. Seek care urgently for signs of dehydration, blood in the stool, high fever, or 'rice-water' stools and sudden severe watery diarrhoea (possible cholera). Give oral rehydration solution (ORS) after every loose stool and keep eating. For young children, zinc for 10–14 days is recommended by health services. Keep breastfeeding infants.
