Diarrhoea is three or more loose or watery stools a day. Cholera is a severe, rapidly dehydrating form from contaminated water. The main danger in all cases is fluid loss. Symptoms: Loose/watery stools, tummy cramps, nausea; with dehydration: thirst, dry mouth, little urine, sunken eyes and weakness. Seek care urgently for signs of dehydration, blood in the stool, high fever, or 'rice-water' stools and sudden severe watery diarrhoea (possible cholera). generated by SI from cited sources · general information, not a diagnosis · consult a health professional
