ली शियाननियन एक चीनी कम्युनिस्ट सैन्य और राजनीतिक नेता थे, 1983 से 1988 तक सर्वोपरि नेता डेंग शियाओपिंग के तहत चीन के राष्ट्रपति रहे और फिर 1988 से अपनी मृत्यु तक चीनी पीपुल्स पॉलिटिकल कंसल्टेटिव कॉन्फ्रेंस के अध्यक्ष रहे। वे 1956 से 1987 तक पोलित ब्यूरो और 1977 से 1987 तक इसकी स्थायी समिति के पूर्ण सदस्य थे।
