A heart attack happens when blood flow to part of the heart is suddenly blocked. It is a life-threatening emergency — minutes matter. लक्षण: Pressure, tightness or pain in the centre of the chest, perhaps spreading to the arm, jaw, neck or back, with sweating, nausea or breathlessness. Signs can be milder in women and people with diabetes. Call emergency services at the first sign — do not wait to 'see if it passes' and do not drive yourself.
